If you want to study at MBO level (intermediate vocational education) in the Netherlands, you need a diploma to prove your Dutch language skills are at B1 level. For HBO (higher vocational education) or university you need B2 level. In this case you need to pass the state examination NT2 at B1 or B2 level.
In order to pass the state examination NT2, you have to take four different tests: speaking, writing, reading and listening. To comply with the requirements for civic integration you also need to do KNM (Knowlegde of the Dutch society) and ONA (Orientation on the Dutch job market).
We organize group courses up to level B1 and B2. We also provide exam preparation courses for those who already have the required level, but want to practice for the exams.
The state examination program 1 is the Dutch exam at B1 level. If you have level B1, you are an independant user of the Dutch language. You can communicate in Dutch about common topics from daily life and your working environment. Your vocabulary is fairly ok.
The state examination program 2 is the Dutch exam at B2 level. B2 level is higher than B1 level. Once you have level B2, you can participate more easily and more effectively to conversations and discussions. You can easily describe your argmuments and give your opinion.
We always start with a consultation and we will give you a reading and/or writing test. We use the results of the test and the consultation to assess your level. This will take about 45 minutes and it’s free of charge.
After the consultation and the test, we will invite you for a trial lesson in an ongoing group or in a new group. The teacher and you will determine together if the group is suitable for you. If so, you remain in this group. If not, we will see if we have a more suitable group for you. Once you decide to stay in the group, we will finalize your subscription.

The books you will need to study are included in the price. You can pay yourself, but it is also possible to use your DUO loan to pay for the lessons.
You will always pay for the lessons after taking the lessons. At the beginning of the month, you will receive an invoice for the lessons you have taken the previous month.
